The MoESYI’s Region 4 office has intensified its search for approximately 1,000 students who remain unaccounted for following the disruptions caused by Hurricane Melissa late last year. Regional Director, Dr. Michele Pinnock confirmed that guidance counsellors, social workers, and school personnel are actively conducting home visits and phone outreach. The Ministry is urging parents who have relocated to register their children at the nearest school using their Student Registration Number (SRN) so they can be tracked and re-engaged.
