The National Council on Education (NCE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth & Information, is currently undertaking a comprehensive research to (a) assess our response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, (b) determine its likely impact in the short and medium terms, and (c) devise strategies to address problems arising from the impact. Questionnaires are currently being administered to a sample of primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, targeting parents, teachers, students and principals. A key output of the research is to prepare an Education Sector Plan to address the challenges that schools and other educational institutions will continue to experience in the next 12 to 18 months.
The NCE is appealing to key stakeholders in education, particularly principals, teachers, students and parents to participate in this important research by completing the relevant questionnaire and submitting to the organization by clicking on the links below:

The establishment of the NCE was born out of the need to have a non-partisan, national and strategically placed organisation that would "address a wide range of issues impacting the education process".
